Description
The KD Overlay is the most commonly used removable appliance for anterior crossbite cases. It utilizes a posterior overlay to open the patient’s bite and a lingual spring and/or screw to activate a tooth out of crossbite position. Varying types of springs or screws can be used, dependent on your individual patient. Available on the upper arch; counter model strongly recommended.
