The Orthodontic Band Technician in the Fixed Prep Department will carve and shape models of patient’s teeth to fit bands, stainless steel crowns and brackets as part of the fabrication process of orthodontic and pediatric appliances. This role is 100% hands on and requires a dedication to excellence and craftsmanship. As you gain tenure, required to learn about basic oral structure, tooth anatomy/numbering systems, and basic orthodontic appliances. This position may have overtime hours, as needed, in times of increased workload.
The Essix Technician will run plastics for all types of orthodontic appliances according to doctor’s prescriptions. This role is 100% hands on and requires a dedication to excellence and craftsmanship. As you gain tenure you are required to learn about basic oral structure, tooth anatomy, tooth numbering systems and a wide variety of basic orthodontic appliances. This position may have overtime hours, as needed, in times of increased workload.
