The Rick-a-nator is a simple, but effective, fixed functional appliance. The design is very similar to a fixed bite plate, but also incorporates the functional elements of opening or advancing the bite through the use of a ramped bite plane. Available on the upper arch; counter model strongly recommended. Also available with 3D printed bands.
